Sr. Rose Macken
The death has occurred of Sr. Rose Macken, Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford and formerly of Dublin Street, Longford and Convent of Mercy, Longford.
Sr. Rose died peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital on the 4th January 2024. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Rosetta, brothers baby Patrick Joseph and J.J. Sr. Rose will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Áine, nephews Anthony, James, Joseph and John, her niece Maria, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family members and by the Sisters of Mercy, Western Province, past pupils and many friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel on Saturday from 3.00pm with prayers at 6.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in Our Lady's Manor Chapel on Sunday at 12.30p.m. Burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford.
