Sr Stella Herlihy

The death has occurred peacefully, of Sr Stella Herlihy, Kinsale, Co. Cork, Convent of Mercy Donegal Town & Ballyshannon in Sligo University Hospital. Sadly missed by the Sisters of Mercy, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon and the wider Mercy Community of the Northern Province and by her brother-in-law Denis(Phil) in Manchester, her sister-in-law Claire(Donal), her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews & great-grand nieces and nephews.

Sr Stella’s remains will be reposing at St Catherine’s Mercy, Convent, Ballyshannon, F94D309 tomorrow (Tuesday) from 2pm until 6pm with removal to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town on Tuesday evening for 7pm where she will reside overnight. Funeral mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Cemetery.
