Sr. Teresa Murphy passed away peacefully on Tuesday 22nd July in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Mary’s Residential Care Centre, Shantalla Road, Galway, in the company of her family and Presentation Sisters.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary, her brothers, Gerard, Paddy Joe, Timothy, Liam and Tom, her sisters, Nano (Finnerty), Sr. Eugenia, and Sr. Angela. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, friends and her Presentation Community.

Funeral Arrangements:

Friday 25th July - Sr. Teresa will repose at Gardner’s Funeral Home, Athenry (H65 EV80) from 5.30pm. Removal at 7:00pm to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27).

Saturday 26th July - Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27). Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry.

Mass will be streamed live on Sr. Teresa's Mass and can be listened to on parish radio 106.5 FM.
