The death has occurred of
Sr. Xavier Madden
Convent of Mercy, Eblana Avenue, Dun Laoghaire and Caherline, Co. Limerick – November 11, 2025, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff and Sisters at Catherine McAuley Nursing Home, Beaumont Woods, Sr. Xavier, beloved daughter of the late Edmund and Mary and dear sister of the late Edmund, Seamus, Michael, John and Eileen. Sadly missed by her Mercy Sisters, nephews Seamus, Gerard, Eamonn and Michael Madden and her nieces Gabrielle Drumm and Marie Therese Rice, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s of Glasthule Funeral Home, 28 Glasthule Road, Sandycove, Dublin A96EW88 from 3.00pm – 5.00pm on Thursday 13 November. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday 14 November at 10am in St Joseph’s Parish Church, Glasthule, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery, Inchicore.
