The death has occurred of Sr. Margaret Ann Walsh, Blarney/California. On March 20th 2023 peacefully, aged 95 years, in Auburn, California, Sr. Margaret Ann (Rita) Walsh, formerly of Loughane, Blarney, Co. Cork. Beloved daughter of the late William and Margaret Walsh, predeceased by her brothers Tom, Jack, William and Patrick and her sisters Lily (Long), Mary and Noreen (Walsh). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her Community of Sisters of Mercy, her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements take place at the Convent of Our Lady of Mercy, 535 Sacramento Street, Auburn with Vigil on Thursday, March 30th, Requiem Mass on Friday, March 31st, and Burial on Monday, April 3rd.
May she rest in peace.
Mass will be celebrated in her memory at St. Joseph's Church, Courtbrack, Blarney on Sunday April 23rd at 9.30am.
