The death has occurred of
Sr.Catherine SCANLON
It is with great sadness and with hope in the Risen Lord that the Daughters of the Holy Spirit announce the death of Sr.Catherine (Michael) Scanlon, Daughter of the Holy Spirit, Drumcondra, in the loving care of the staff at Maryfield Nursing Home. She died peacefully, on December 6th with grace and dignity in her 97th year. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Ellen Scanlon, her siblings, Mary Ellen, Ellen, Patrick, Sr. Mairead and Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her nephew Tommy and nieces Siobhan, Eileen and Pauline, extended family, relatives and friends, her religious family and the staff and residents of Maryfield. We give thanks to God for her 77years of faithful dedication as a Daughter of the Holy Spirit.

A wake service will be held in Maryfield Chapel at 18.30 hrs. 9th December. Funeral Mass in Maryfield on Saturday, 10th December 2022, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Fingal burial grounds. The Mass may be viewed on the following link:
