In her 94th year. Statia passed away peacefully on Sunday 18th August in the care of the staff of South Tipperary General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Jim, infant daughter Teresa and sister Biddy (Fogarty). She will be sadly missed by her daughters Aileen (Healy), Mary, Margaret (Bergin), Brigid (Hackett) and Catherine (O'Donovan), son Jimmy, sisters Peggy (Fogarty) and Maura (Ryan), brother Paddy, sister-in-law Eileen (Bourke), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Thursday 22nd August from 5pm to 7pm. Leaving her residence on Friday 23rd August to arrive at St Kevin's Church, Littleton at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Two Mile Borris cemetery.
