The death has occurred of
Stephanie KINAHAN SCALLAN
Kinahan Scallan Stephanie (Slane, Co. Meath) Aged 34 years and Graduate of I.C.H.A.S., Limerick in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. Passed away peacefully on 23rd June 2013 at her home. Beloved wife of Colin, darling youngest daughter of Michael (Mick) and Sheila, and much loved sister of Suzanne and Taryn, and her adopted sisters Niamh and Trish. Loved dearly also by her brothers-in-law Darren and John. Deeply loved and mourned by her Aunt Noreen, Godmother Carol, Grandfather Stephen and her nephew Oisín. Also loved and mourned by her mother-in-law Ger, her granny Babby, her brother-in-law James, sisters-in-law Elaine and Maxine, and her nephews Jake and Adam.
Also sadly missed by her large loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and by all her many, many friends. Mourned too by her colleagues in Dublin City Council, Childline (Drogheda), SOSAD (Drogheda), Foróige (Meath/Louth), by the members of Slane Youth Café, and by the entire Slane community.
Reposing at her parents’ home in Palmerstown from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Service and cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium on Thursday, 27th June, at 3pm. In accordance with Steph’s wish, no flowers please - donations, if desired, to Slane Youth Café (Foróige) or Childline (Drogheda). House private on Thursday morning please.
