The death has occurred of Stephanie Moloney (née Considine) Barntick, Clarecastle, Ennis, Co. Clare. Former teacher at Frure and Ballynacally National Schools.

 

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Stephanie Moloney of Barntick, Clarecastle, Co. Clare and formerly of Clondegad, Ballynacally, Co. Clare. Peacefully at UHL, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday 3rd February 2026.

 

Predeceased by her parents John and Kitty Considine and her sisters Geraldine and Maura Nevin (Ennis).

 

Stephanie will be sadly mourned by her husband Dermot, son Fiachra, daughter Caitriona, sister Nuala Leydon, brothers Philip and Finbar, daughter-in-law Maria, her adored grandchildren Muireann, Blaithin and Ted Moloney, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, neighbours and past pupils.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at Clarecastle Church on Thursday (5th Feb.) from 5 pm, concluding with funeral prayers at 7 pm. Funeral Mass to celebrate Stephanie’s life in Clarecastle Church on Friday (6th Feb.) at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Clarehill Cemetery, Clarecastle. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to Mid-West Cancer Centre, University Hospital Limerick.
