Predeceased by her grandparents Morch and Bridget Sweeney, uncles John Sweeney and David Sweeney and aunt Mary McCarthy.

Dearly loved and loving mother of Travis and Joe and the late baby Bella Mia, daughter of Patrick (Paddy) and Mary Teresa and sister of Bridget, John Patrick, Mark, Margerite and Morching.

Sadly missed by her loving family, grandparents John and Anne, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo F91EH98, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on Friday, January 12th.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1.30pm on Saturday, January 13th, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at https://sligocathedral.ie/live-feed-from-cathedral/

The Sweeney family would like to acknowledge the assistance given to the family in recent times by Gardaí, various rescue services and volunteers along the quays and the channel at Sligo Bay, Sligo Bay RNLI, Garda Sub Aqua Unit, Rescue 118 Coastguard Helicopter, Civil Defence, and volunteer boat rescue services from across the country, including Wexford K9 search and rescue, Viking Sub Aqua Club, Ballyglass Coast Guard Search and Drone Unit, Rockcorry Divers and North Coast Search and Recovery, the River Moy Search and Rescue and many friends including Glenn Gethins.
