Stephen Andrew Eric BARRINGTON

Stephen Andrew Eric Barrington of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, died suddenly, in his sleep, on Thursday 25th November, while hiking the Te Araroa trail in New Zealand. He had just finished walking what he called his “best day yet – 10/10” without realising his imminent promotion to glory during the night. His faith in Jesus Christ permeated his whole life and his heart of love for others was widely known.

Following soon after his wife Linda, he left the rest of us too soon. He will be missed by everyone who ever crossed his path, but particularly by his siblings Gill and Ron, sons Jason and Matthew, daughters-in-law Noemi and Mandy, grandchildren Annabeth, Emma-Jane, Theo-Jo, Beatrice, Maia and Baby. It is with sure and steady confidence in the goodness of Jesus Christ that the family rejoices in knowing Stephen is now with his Lord and Saviour. Please join them in weeping and grieving, but please also call out to Stephen's Heavenly Father for the comfort we all need at this time.

A Thanksgiving Funeral Service will take place in Hillside Evangelical Church, Greystones, on Sunday 30th November at 3pm. No flowers please however donations can be made to YOUNG LIFE in his memory.
