After a long illness borne with dignity. Beloved father of Brenda, Julie, Eilís and Anthony. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his children and their partners, John, Marat and Caitlin, as well as his adored grandchildren Alan and Sophie. Sadly mourned and dearly missed also by his siblings, Nora, Martín and Padhraig, Mary, Kathleen and Bernadette, nieces and nephews Martha, Róisín, Michael, Neasa, Stephen and Fintan; the extended Cooney and Burke family, neighbours, and friends. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ann, his parents Michael and Mary, and his sister, Fionnuala.

Thursday April 3, 2025 -
Reposing at the 'Cillín', within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna (H91 A2T7) from 4.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church 6 p.m.
Friday, 4 April, 2025
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Stephen at 12 noon. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Live Streaming link for Mass: Here . Mass is also broadcast on radio at 106.6 FM in the Bearna area for those who cannot attend the funeral.
