Stephen COWHEY

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Stephen Cowhey, Richmond Park, Corbally, Limerick and Ex Krupps Engineering, Tanyard Soccer Club and Shannon R.F.C.

 

On February 25th 2026, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Beloved husband of Geraldine and adored father of Conor, Eílis, Joanne and Martha.

 

Stephen will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, cherished grandchildren Calum, Aaron, Lola, Mollie and Ruby, son-in-law, partners, brother Pat, sister Nancy and Robertha, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives, lifelong friend Pat Reales, other friends and neighbours.

 

Pre-deceased by parents Denis (Denzie) and Elsie and sister Tracy.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Sunday, March 1st, from 3.30pm to 5pm, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street.

Requiem Mass will take place Monday, March 2nd, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium for Service at 1pm.
