26th June 2025 (peacefully, in his 94th year) after a short illness borne with great dignity at University College Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his mother Bridget, father Stephen Snr, his sisters Peggy, Barbara, Maureen and Bridie, niece Gerelidine Nicell and nephew Peter O’Brien, and grand nephew John Padgett.
Beloved husband of Mary, dearest and loving Dad to daughter Joan, her partner Brendan, son Peter, and his wife Clodagh. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Kathleen Ross (Canada), his niece, Mary Pagett (née O’Brien), her husband Mick and their children Stephen and Elisa (Dublin), grand nieces Clare, Julie-Anne & Orlagh, granddaughter Katelin, grandsons Conor, Neil & Lorcan, close family relatives, his many friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at St. John the Baptist Church, Ballyvaughan from 5.30 pm to 7pm Sunday 29th June.
Funeral Mass Monday morning (June 30th) at 11.30 o'clock in St. John the Baptist Church,Ballyvaughan followed by a private cremation.
