Stephen McCarthy

McCarthy (Nohoval and Rennies) on December 11th 2025, peacefully in Cork University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Stephen, beloved husband of Trish and dear father of Brian, Cara (Browne) and Anna (Kelleher). Predeceased by his sister Eileen and brothers Patrick, Michael and Finbarr.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughter-in-law Angela, sons-in-law Tom and Jim, grandchildren Aidan, Kellie, Liam, Kristina, Caroline and Sophia, brothers-in-law Daniel and James, sisters-in-law Breda, Re, Carrie and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Stephen will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Sunday from 5pm followed by prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 1pm in St. Patrick's Church, Nohoval which will be livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals after which Stephen will be laid to rest in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Nohoval.
