Stephen McNena, Heather Grove, Ballybane, Galway, On the 8th December, 2021 Stephen passed away at the Galway Hospice with his wife Noeleena and children Suzanne, Kevin, Barry, Stephen, Michael, Noel and Niamh by his side.
A dearly loved husband, much loved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mourned and sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, sons and daughters in-law Gerry, Derek, Michaela, Rionach, Donna and Aoife, all his grandchildren, his brothers and sister, Seamus, Michael, Kevin, Peadar and Mary and his extended family.
In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 the attendance at the Funeral Parlour and at the Crematorium will be for extended family and close friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Friday, 10th December, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and a Commital Service at Shannon Crematorium will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Although the attendance at the funeral parlour has resumed, Stephen’s family are still mindful of spreading Covid-19. A ‘Walk-through’ system is in place in the Parlour. You are asked to continue to abide by social distancing guidelines, to wear a mask and to avoid shaking hands. Thank you. Flowers from immediate family only. Donations in memory of Stephen to the Galway Hospice.

He remained strong and positive throughout the last few months, all the time having more concern for us rather than himself.
