Stephen Murphy

The death has occurred of Stephen Murphy, Farm Road, Annagassan. Stephen died after a short illness at the Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his close family. Stephen will be missed by his wife Marie (née Hamilton), his sons Stephen and Daniel, sister Bernadette, daughters-in-law Heather and Chasity, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his brothers and sisters in Christ, the Church.

“We do not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep”.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Stephen will repose at his home on Farm Road, Annagassan (A92 W651) on Monday and Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm. House private at all other times. Funeral Service at Dundalk Baptist Church, Ardee Terrace, Dundalk (A91 NA0D) on Wednesday at 12 noon, where Stephen served as Pastor for 35 years. Stephen's Funeral Service can be viewed at www.youtube.com/c/Joefinnegan. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Fintan’s Churchyard, Drumcar (A92 W32K).
