Stephen O'Connor

Stephen O'Connor (Louvain, Milford Grange, Castletroy, Limerick,  formerly of Meenogahane, Co. Kerry and late of An Garda Síochána), died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, 13th of December 2022.

Beloved husband of Martina, adored Dad of Fergal, Hilary, Shirley, Stephanie and son-in-law Fionnán and the doting 'Daddad' to Florence.

Much loved brother to Willie, Eileen, deceased brothers Pat, Tom and sister-in-law Kathleen. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Julian, Josie, Mary Casey and brothers- in-law Dick Keane and Gerard Casey.

Adored 'Uncle Steve' of Adrian, Brian, Stephen, Denise, Áine, Bridget, Mary, Richard, Thomas, Deborah, Mary, Pádraig, Norma, Noel and Gemma. Sadly missed by extended family, neighbours and friends along with his colleagues and friends of An Garda Síochána.

A sincere man of great faith, humility and optimism with a heart as wide as the world and kindness as deep as the ocean.

May he rest in peace.

Stephen will be reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, 40 Thomas Street, Limerick, V94 FT85 on Thursday, the 15th of December from 5pm to 6.30pm.  His requiem mass will be celebrated on Friday, the 16th of December at 11.30am in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Milford, Castletroy, Limerick, V94 X832. Burial follows in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Adare.
