Stephen Rice

Rice Stephen, 23rd December 2025, (Aughavanagh Road, Crumlin and former Taxi Driver), passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. Michael’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice Harolds Cross. Beloved husband of the late Lena and much-loved dad of Margaret and Karen. Predeceased by his loving brothers and sisters.

Stephen will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren Stephen, Craig, Sheree and Katie, great-grandchildren Ivy, Brí, Sadbh and Alex, sons-in-law, Alan and Declan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral home, Crumlin Village on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.

A Celebration of Stephen’s life will take place on Monday (29th December) at 3.45pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, followed by cremation.
