Susan Martin
(née Cusack)

The death has occurred of Susan Martin, (nee Cusack formerly Lower Lavey) Collops, Kingscourt, peacefully at Castleross Nursing Home (Killanny House). Predeceased by her husband James Martin, daughter Breda Lynch (Oldcastle), son-in-law Jimmy Mc Cabe and sister Kathleen McCaffrey. Deeply regretted by her loving family, her sons Michael (Clontarf Dublin), John (Bawnboy), Paul (Kingscourt), Damian (Ballyjamesduff) and Brian (Kingscourt), daughters Caroline (Kingscourt) and Mairead (Clontarf, Dublin).

Remembered fondly by daughters-in-law Alma, Anne, Therese and Niamh, sons-in-law Trevor, Oliver and 14 grandchildren. Sadly missed by her sister Rose Kane (Banahoe, Crosskeys) and Brothers Michael and Patsy Cusack (Lower Lavey) and Terry Cusack (Cavan town). Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives. Susan will be sadly missed by the community in Kingscourt and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral and burial will take place for family in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message in the 'Condolences' section below. Susan’s funeral procession will travel via her home in Collops, Kingscourt on the way to the church. Local residents are welcome to contact the immediate family members to find out when to come to their doors as a mark of respect. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at a later date.
