Susan passed peacefully from this life, on Tuesday 6th February 2024, in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, and with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Charles

Susan will be greatly missed by her daughters Elizabeth (Murray), Vivienne and Maria, sons-in-law Peter, Spencer and Witek, her grandchildren, Thomas, Niamh and Callum, members of the extended family and neighbours and friends

Susan will repose in DIgnity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea on Friday evening 9th February from 7pm to 8pm.

Funeral Service for Susan will take place on Saturday, 10th February 2024, at 12noon in Shannon Crematorium. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed on a link to be available later.

The family will be eternally grateful to all of the people who have supported them in looking after Susan in recent years – the GP's and staff at Main Street Clinic Loughrea, Fergal Leahy and the staff of Leahy's Pharmacy, her carers Fiona, Susie, Cora and Dina, the staff of Kilimor Nursing Home, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe and Galway University Hospital and the Galway Hospice Foundation.
