Kingsland, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Wexford Town and Leeds.
January 24th, 1939 – March 3rd, 2026.
Peacefully, with her family by her side, in the wonderful care of the management, nurses and staff of Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Susan, sisters Eileen, Nancy and Maureen, brother Seamus and her husband Patrick.
Sadly, missed and remembered with love by her daughters Sharon and Sarah, her treasured granddaughter Grace, daughter-in-law, Fiona, Sarah’s partner, Alan and the extended Cryan and Donovan families, her relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Rita will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark on Thursday from 5.30pm. Removal at 7.30pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Breedogue arriving at 8pm.
Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11am, followed by committal service in Sharkey’s Cremation Chapel, Loughglynn.
House private and family flowers only. Donations in Rita’s memory can be made to Mayo/ Roscommon Hospice Palliative Care Services.
