(née Hanway)

Halpin (nee Hanway), Susan, known lovingly to all as Sue, North Strand, Dublin 3, 19th February 2025. Passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her devoted girls.

 

Pre-deceased by her loving parents, Connie and Cocker Hanway and her brothers and sisters. Sue will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband and best friend Paudge (Paddy), her baby sister and partner in crime Mary, brother-in-law Paddy, godchild Audrey, nieces Sandra and Megan, nephew Paul, grand-nieces Holly and Shannon, little great-grand nephew, “the little bully” Logan, whom she idolised, nephew-in-law Paul, niece-in-law Wendy, sister-in-law Jenny, brother-in-law Joe, nieces and nephews from far and wide, extended family and lifelong friends, with special mention to Adrienne, who always made Sue look as glamorous as she did during their 40 plus years of friendship, and to all Sue and Paddys kind and caring neighbours. And not to forget Sues two furry pals Monroe and Pippy, who will miss her hugs every day.

Sue will repose at Jennings Funeral Directors, Amiens Street, Dublin 1

MONDAY 3rd March 2025 from 3pm to 5pm

(Family Residence STRICTLY PRIVATE – please respect the family's wishes)

Funeral Mass will take place on TUESDAY 4th March 2025 at 11am

St. Agatha’s Church, North William Street, Dublin 1

Followed by a Cremation Service to celebrate Sue’s life

at Glasnevin Crematorium, Old Finglas Road, Dublin 11.
