Sylvester Cassidy

Sylvester Cassidy, Barnaderg, Tuam, Co. Galway and formerly of Charlestown, Co. Mayo passed away peacefully in UHG Sunday December 12th after a long illness bravely born. Predeceased by his parents Charles & Mary, his brother Paddy, sisters Kathleen & Helen, and nieces Edel & Mary. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, his children Declan, Miriam, Cathal & Brian, along with their partners Arthur, Steve, Karen & Katie and his beloved grandchildren Luke, Cian, Millie, Darragh, Eamon, Lìadan & Cadhla. Deeply regretted by sisters Josie & Anne, Sister in law Maureen, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his very large circle of friends and neighbours.

Sylvester will repose at his home on Sunday, December 19th, for family & friends only from 3pm to 5pm. This will be a walk through repose in-line with Goverment and HSE guidelines. Please wear face coverings and refrain from shaking hands. Those who wish to leave a message of condolence for the family may do so in the condolence section below.  Removal on Monday, December 20th, at 11.45am (House private for family Monday morning) for Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Killererin at 12 noon. Sylvester will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Killererin.
