Sylvester Gilligan

The death has occurred of Sylvester Gilligan, Larkhill, Keash, Ballymote. Co. Sligo, F56 HY09, suddenly at his residence on 25th December 2023. Predeceased by his sisters Angela Byrne (Australia) and Mary Teresa (U.S.A.), his brothers Tommy (U.S.A.) Jimmy (U.K.) and Noel (Bunninadden).

Deeply loved by his heartbroken wife Mary, devoted daughters Teresa, Sharon and Linda, sons-in-law Aidan Gallagher, Buninadden and Geoffrey Lyons Kilmorgan, adored grandchildren, Gareth, Claudia, Matthew and Darragh, brothers Denis, Mike, Oliver and Gerry, his sisters Kathleen Collins (U.K.), Attracta Hanahoe (Foxford), Veronica Corscadden (Cloonacool), Rosaleen McCann (Bonniconlon) and Martina McHale (Doocastle, Rooskey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Sylvester Rest In Peace

Sylvester will repose at his residence at Larkhill, Keash on Friday, 29th December, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. Removal on Saturday to St. Kevin's Church, Keash to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards at Knockbrack Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Keash Parish website https://www.churchtv.ie/keash/. Family Flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation C/O a Family Member.
