Deegan, Sylvia (née Byrne) – 5th December 2025, (Beaumont and formerly of 6 Grangegorman Villas, Dublin 7). Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of Anthony and cherished & adored mother of her heartbroken children Liza, Ken, Steve and Andy. Predeceased by her loving parents, brothers and sisters. No words can describe how much she will be missed by her devoted husband, sons and daughter, Liza’s partner Mick, daughter-in-law, treasured grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, caring neighbours and all who knew and loved her. Sylvia is back in the arms of her adored parents, brothers and sisters. Resting in peace.

Reposing at Lanigan’s Funeral Home, Beaumont Road, Dublin 9 on Tuesday afternoon, December 9th 2025 from 4pm to 6pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning, December 10th to the Church of St. Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1pm. House Strictly Private.
