It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Flatau (née Byrne), Wimbledon, London and formerly of Donaghmede, Dublin on 12th February 2026 in Royal Trinity Hospice, London following an illness borne with great bravery. Predeceased by her father Jimmy and her father-in -law Jack. Sylvia will be very deeply missed by her loving husband Robert, her adored daughter Juliette, her loving mother Betty, her sisters and brothers Geraldine, Fiona, Ruth, Vincent and Alan, mother-in-law Susan, brothers in law, sisters-in-law, her beloved nieces and nephews, grandniece, grandnephews, her many aunts, cousins and wide circle of lovely friends.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday 26th February from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Friday morning 27th February to the Church of The Holy Trinity, Donaghmede arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
