Galway (née Rock) Sylvia, (17th November 2025) late of Walkinstown and formerly of Drimnagh, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of staff at Croft Nursing Home, Goldenbridge surrounded by her loving family.

 

Loving wife and best friend of 66 years to Brendan, cherished mam of Amanda, Brian and Nicola, adored nanny of Aoife, Oisín and Alfie. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Noel, daughter-in-law Ash, many relatives, friends and neighbours and her pals Tips and Hank.

 

Predeceased by her two brothers Liam and Leslie, five sisters Ethne, May, Olive, Linda and Madeline.

 

A special word of thanks to the staff of the Croft Nursing Home especially Deirdre, Depat and Thomas, her home carers, especially Theresa.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral home, Crumlin Village on Thursday from 3pm to 5pm. House Private. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 10am in St Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by cremation in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome arriving for 11.30am.
