Kennedy (née, Williams) Sylvia (Glasnevin, Dublin) July 18th 2024, peacefully, entering her 98th year, after a brief illness in the presence of family and in the kind and gentle care of the staff on St. Anne’s Ward, Mater Hospital. Predeceased by her much loved husband Pat, son-in-law John and grandson Luke. She will be sorely missed by her sons John and Frank and by her daughter Margaret, daughters-in-law Laurie and Anne, cherished grandchildren Roy, Cait, Patrick, John Dominic, William, Clare and Margaret, treasured great-granddaughter Callie and by Clodagh, her friend of 75 years Toni and the Derby family and also by her heartbroken friends and neighbours and by all who knew her.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral home, 21 Beaumont Road on Thursday, 25th July, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Friday morning, 26th July, to Corpus Christi Church, Home Farm Road, Drumcondra arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Dublin Simon Community or The St. Vincent de Paul Society.
