Sylvia Leonard née McDonagh, Hillview, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Wilkinstown, Navan, Co. Meath. 16th January 2026. Peacefully at Gormanston Wood, Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her mam Ann, dad Edward, sister Maureen and niece Sharon. Beloved mam to Pauline, Michelle, Denise, Stephanie and Stephen. Sylvia will be very sadly missed by her daughters and son, son-in-law Paddy, Stephanie’s partner Sean, grandchildren Nakita, Gary, Leah, Amy, Shania, Karl, Cian, Layla, Nadia, Marley and Jodi, great-grandsons Jayden and Noah, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92XN75) on Saturday from 5pm until 7pm and at her daughter Stephanie’s Home in Newtown Meadows, Termonfeckin Road, Drogheda on Sunday from 3pm until 6pm for family and close friends.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove.

Cremation afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium at 1.30pm.
