BARRETT (Silversprings, Cork): On October 15th, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at CareChoice Montenotte, SYLVIE (late of Sunbeam and Freefoam), beloved husband of Phil (née Forde) and adored dad of Jackie, Pamela and Sylvia, dear brother of Essie and the late Kay and Pat, doting granda of Claire, Orla, Ava, Abbie, Andrew, Zoe and Sarah, sons-in-law Paul and Brian, Claire’s husband Padraig and Pam’s partner Liam.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially Carmel and Mick.

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Wednesday (October 16th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Thursday (October 17th) in the Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
