It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing on the 1st of March 2025 of our beloved son and brother Tadg O’Mahony. Cherished son of Jerry and Margaret (née Coppinger), dearly loved brother of Con, Jer, Marion (O’Donovan), and Majella (O’Keeffe). Tadg will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers-in-law Luke and Brian, sisters-in-law Marie and Jenna, nephews, nieces, God-daughters Maeve, Maggie and Sophie, uncle, aunts, dear cousins especially Mike Copp and his large circle of friends worldwide including Alex, Ian, George B, Paul, Geoff Sharman and family, Jenni, Dave and Ben, George and Margie Miller.

“Vale (Farewell) Tadg”

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Monday, March 10th from 5pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday, March 11th at 12 noon in St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream, click here), followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.

The O’Mahony family would like to express their sincere thanks to Tadg’s best friend Alex, cousins Tim and Dan O’ Donoghue, DJ and Rachel Murnane, and Family for all the love and support shown during the repatriation process from Sydney to Bantry.
