Tadgh O'Donovan Trá

Tadgh O’Donovan Trá (former Cork County Councillor), died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday 13th September, 2024 at Skibbereen Community Hospital.

Deeply loved and missed by his loving wife Anne (nee O’Brien), his children Brian, Aidan, Sinéad, Suzanne, Gillian, Edel, Áine, Amy and his niece Gemma Egan (nee O’Donovan).

Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandnephew, grandniece, grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Lying in repose at the family home, Glenfael, Mardyke Road (P81 EE76) on Sunday 15th September, from 3pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen, on Monday 16th September, which will be livestreamed on http://Skibbereenandrath.ie Burial afterwards in The Abbey Cemetery, Skibbereen, via North St., Market St., Townshend St., Bridge St., and Ilen St.

If attending the family home on Sunday 15th September, there will be limited access to the house. We ask that you follow the guidance of the stewards.
