Ted Murphy

Ted Murphy, (Cluainin, Curragh, Donoughmore, Co. Cork).

On March 22nd 2025, peacefully, in the tender care of Marymount Hospital and Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness borne with good grace and fortitude. Son of the late Dan Tim and Maisie and brother of John and the late Marie and Mike.

Ted was a caring husband, father and grandfather and is deeply loved and mourned by his wife, Mary, his children, Dana, Ciarán, Michelle and Ted; their partners, John, Margaruite, Brian and Jen, and his grandchildren Maegan, Ellie, Áine, Rory, Tadgh and Lucy.

Sadly missed also by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and his many friends, including those from Donoughmore GAA Club.

May he rest in peace.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig (P31 W982) Monday (24th) from 6.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass Tuesday (25th) at 12.30pm in St Joseph’s Church, Fornaught followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy.
