It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terence Reynolds, who died peacefully at his home in Yonkers, NY, on December 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Born on July 5, 1947, in Cloncowley, Drumlish, Co. Longford, Ireland, Terence lived a life full of love, dedication, and generosity. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

Terence came to NY in 1968 and joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local Union 608, where he served as a lifetime member. He was a devout pioneer and a great advocate of total abstinence having faithfully served as president of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart (Bronx).

 

Terence is pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Martha and brother Michael. He is survived by his devoted wife, Josephine, his cherished daughters, Martha and Christina, and his adored grandchildren, Johnny, Patrick, Athena, and Amaryllis, and his beloved dog Gus. Also sadly missed by his sons-in-law, Robert and Philip, as well as extended family, friends, and neighbors who held him dear.

 

A viewing will be held at Flower Funeral Home in Yonkers, Friday 3rd of January 2025 (4-8pm) followed by a Funeral Mass Saturday 4th of January 2025 (11am) at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Yonkers. Followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Yonkers.

Terence will forever be remembered for his warmth, love, and the indelible legacy he leaves behind.
