Teresa Loughnane
(née Joyce)
Teresa Loughnane (nee Joyce), Cahertubber, Athenry, and formerly of Belville, Co. Galway. Died peacefully in her 93rd year, in the care of St Gerard's Ward UHG, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 30th March 2025.
Predeceased by her loving husband Tommy, sisters Kathleen, Delia, Agnes, brothers Paddy, Tom and Jimmy.
Teresa, sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Kathleen (Morrissey), sons John, Martin, Tony, Pj and Ollie, sisters Monica (Doherty) and Ellie (Shaughnessy), son in-law Michael, daughters in-law Patricia, Bridie, Martina, Eileen and Patricia, grandchildren (17) and great-grandchildren (7), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Tuesday 1st April, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Wednesday, 2nd April for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on Parish radio 106.5fm. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to Croí (https://croi.ie/donate/).
