Teresa McHugh

Formerly of Isserkelly, Kilchreest, Co. Galway.

Teresa passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and outstanding care staff of Millbury Nursing Home in Navan, Co. Meath.

Pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Patrick; her brothers Sylvie, Patrick and Joseph; her nephew Gerry and her beloved and devoted husband, Mícheál Mac Aodha.

Cherished and adored mother of Francis, John Joe, Bridget, Margaret, and mother-in-law of Sean, she is greatly missed.

Teresa is fondly remembered by her children; her loving sister Margaret (Texas) and brother Peter (Galway); her cousin Mary and husband Sean (Navan); nieces, nephews grand-nieces and grand-nephews; extended family members (New York and Texas), by her wonderful neighbours and friends in Kells and Galway.

Removal on Sunday (November 26th) from Mac Dara, Gardenrath Rd, Kells at 11:30am, arriving to St. Colmcille’s Church, Kells for 12:15pm Funeral Mass which can be viewed live on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/. Laid to rest beside her loving husband Mícheál afterwards in St. Colmcille’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate all donations to St. Colmcille’s Church.
