It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Morris (née Gilgan), Hornchurch, Essex, UK, formerly of Kilmacowen, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo, and The Square, (The Spar Supermarket), Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim.

Teresa died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 22nd November 2025, aged 91 years.

Teresa is predeceased by husband John, son John, parents Patrick and Margaret (née Bree), and her brothers & sisters Michael James, Kathleen, Myra, Peggy, Patrick and Mary.

Teresa will be deeply missed and remembered always by her loving children Theresa, Patricia, Geraldine, Pauline, Alan & daughter-in-law Nam, Margaret & son-in-law Kevin; her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May Teresa’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Teresa’s funeral will take place on 18th December 2025 at 10:45am in St Alban’s Catholic Church, Langdale Gardens, Hornchurch, RM12 5LA. Interment will follow at 12:15pm at South Essex Cemetery, Ockendon Rd, Upminster, RM14 2UY.
