The death has occurred of Teresa Murphy née Dowd, Killycard, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Castleross Retirement Village, surrounded by her loving family, Monday 16th March 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Arthur, brothers Eamonn, John and Pat, and her granddaughter Ciara.

Deeply regretted, and lovingly missed by her children, Art (Phil), Breda (Martin), Maud, Denise (Owen), Damhnait (Mick), Finola (Patrick), Liam (Heather) and Niall, her siblings, Mary, Benny, Michael, Liam and Bridget, her cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Alanagh, Owen, Ronan, Cillian, Frankie, Aidan, Iggy, Noah, Colin, Arthur, Senan, Everett, along with their partners. Great-grandchildren, Daire, Callum, Cillian, Sophia and Olivia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Teresa will repose at her home in Killycard (A75 KT98) from 5 pm to 7pm on Tuesday and from 4pm to 8 pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 pm arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 2 pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery where Teresa will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Arthur.
