Teresa Neary (née O’Brien) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dunmore East, Co. Waterford, passed away peacefully, on Friday 22nd November, 2024, in her 98th year, in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Patrick, mother of the late baby Deirdre and sister of the late Rita and Brendan. Devoted mother of Kieran, Bernard, Donal, Rosaleen (Ros), Pamela and Declan, adored and adoring grandmother of Amanda, Clare, Laura, Michelle, Deirdre, Wayne, Aidan, Róisín, Ryan, Jason and Sacha. She will be sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law Colm and Terry, daughter-in-law Deborah, Bernard’s partner Sandra, by her 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Monday evening (Nov.25) from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (Nov.26) at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Little Bray. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent’s Hospital Foundation.
