The death has occurred, of Teresa Sharkey (née Monaghan), Greenmount, Dunleer and late of Millockstown, Ardee, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Teresa, beloved wife of the late Michael and loving mother of Ann, Martin, Marie, Olive and Raymond. Predeceased by her mother Mary, father Laurence, brothers Gerard, Anthony and John and sister May. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren Richard, Jessica, Fergal, Aiveen, Liam, Thaen, Séan, Sarah, Sophie and Thomas, great-grandchildren Rebecca, Oisín and Conan, sons-in-law Richard and Brendan, daughters-in-law Ruth and Mairéad, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

A private family funeral for Teresa will take place due to Government advice on public gatherings, with numbers limited to 50. Removal from Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Friday evening at 7pm to  Saint Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Evening Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Teresa, by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the Church. Those who would like to attend but cannot may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
