Teasie died peacefully and with tremendous dignity, following long illnesses, extended hospital stays and Lewy Body dementia very bravely borne.

She is now at rest and is with her beloved mammy, who she spoke about and asked for daily.

Teasie is mourned and loved by her devoted husband, companion and carer of 48 years, John Doyle and by their children Andrea and Darragh.

Teasie was a wonderful wife, mammy, granny, sister, daughter, godmother and neighbour who loved her family and helped anyone and everyone she could. She was a mighty woman.

Teasie will be missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ruby, Maisy, Myles and her son-in-law Thomas; by her grandchildren Seán and Súin and her daughter-in-law Niamh; by her brothers Christy and Dónal and their families; by her nieces and nephews, her sister in law Mary and her family, and by her neighbours and friends in Fairview and Graiguenamanagh.

In her later years she was cared for by many people who the family are very grateful to, especially the team at St Gabriel’s Hospital, Kilkenny who treated her with great love, kindness and compassion for the last two years.

Teasie was predeceased by her beloved parents Mary and William, her brothers Pierrie, Billy, Dick, Michael, her sisters Lizzie and May and her nephew Liam.

She was fiercely proud of and loved Graiguenamanagh and the Barrow and cheering on the Kilkenny camogie and hurling teams. Teasie will be laid to rest on Tuesday 5th November.

She will rest in Walsh’s funeral home, Graiguenamanagh (Eircode R95D853) from 3pm to 8pm on Monday 4th November. Removal from Teasie's home at 10.45am on Tuesday morning to arrive at Duiske Abbey Graiguenamanagh for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
