Teresa (Tess) Brownrigg (née Nolan), (Newtown, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Rahengraney Bridge, Clonegal, Co. Wexford), died peacefully 2nd of July 2025 on her 87th birthday, in the excellent care of all the staff, in the Suir Ward St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny after a short illness surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Predeceased by her loving parents Patrick and Elizabeth, brothers Jim, Jack, Andy, Dan and sisters Kathy, Molly Bridie and son-in-law Brian. Beloved Wife of Attie and mother of Marie, Deborah, Audrey and Athena, sons-in-law Liam, Mike and Edward. Forever missed by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

MAY HER BEAUTIFUL SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE

Tess will be reposing at Shasby’s Funeral Home Kilkenny City (R95 TW96) on Friday 4th July 2025 from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (5th July) at 11am in St. Kieran’s Church, Tullaherin (R95 X970) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
