Terry Johnston

Johnston Terry (Terence) Grace Park Heights, Drumcondra, Dublin. 1st of June 2025. Terry passed away peacefully following a short, bravely fought battle with a cancer related illness. Terry fell asleep surrounded by family, and in the loving care of the medical team at the High Dependency Unit at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents, Mona and Bob Johnston, of Belvedere Road, Dublin. Sadly, missed by Gareth, Mark and Patricia, daughter-in-law Eileen, his beloved granddaughters, Jessica, Charlotte and Victoria, his sister Marita, sister-in-law, Beatrice, brother-in-law, Tim and his immediate family, extended family, and many friends.

Terry will be reposing at Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road, Beaumont, Dublin, D09 VW90 on Friday 6th June 5pm to 7pm. This will be followed by a celebration of Terry’s life at Holy Child Church, Thatch Road, Whitehall, Dublin, D09 HX99 on Saturday 7th June at 10am. He will be laid to rest with his parents thereafter at Glasnevin Cemetery, Glasnevin, Dublin, D11 XA32

 

Terry’s sons, Mark and Gareth, respectfully request that we celebrate Terry’s wonderful life by all wearing bright colours to represent the fun, laughter and joker personality of Terry.
