Terry O'Brien

O’Brien – 23rd February 2026, Terry - of Portstewart and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Dublin, peacefully after a short illness at Causeway Hospital. Predeceased by his sister Niamh Smyth, Fr Niall O’Brien SSC, and Fergus O’Brien. Deeply missed by wife Janine and children Sunniva (John), Niall (Lindsey), Fionnuala-Fiona and Björn (Jenny), grandchildren Niamh, Georgia, Colm and Senan. By his nephews and nieces Iseult, Killian, Ossian and Cliana and Crowley, Delaney, McCracken, O’Brien, Smythe and Torcher cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Wades Funeral Home 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1BF, on Friday, 27th February from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 28th February at 1pm in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. House strictly private, no flowers please.
