Tess passed away peacefully on Friday 5th December 2025 in the exceptional care of staff at Cork University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, infant son William, parents Patrick and Alice, brothers Liam and Tim and sisters Chris and Phil.

Her loving presence will be deeply cherished and remembered by all especially her devoted daughter Caroline, loving son James, adored grandchildren J.J. and Alice, daughter-in-law Serena, brother Pa Kirby, sister Helen Barry, Goddaughter Nicola, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Aidan Walsh and Sons Funeral Home, Tallow on Monday 8th December from 5 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday 9th December in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tallow. Interment afterwards in Aglish Cemetery, Glencairn.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Parkinson's Ireland in her memory.
