Tess Hosty
(née Bray)

Tess, passed away peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Mary's Residential Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Beloved wife of the late Cathal and much loved mother of June, Geraldine, Charlie, Audrey, Malcolm and the late Yvonne.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters and sons, brother Freddy, sons-in-law Pat, John and Noel and daughters-in-law Catherine and Carmel. Lovingly remembered by her adored grandchildren Diarmuid, Eoghan and Emily, Louise, Katie, Kieran, Cathal, Aoife and Cian, the extended Hosty and Bray family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday 19 November, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tess at St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore on arrival at 11:00 a.m.

Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour.

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, Henry Street and Sea Road. Parking may be scarce on Munster Avenue.

Car Parks within walking distance:

The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
