The Venerable Archdeacon Gerard Casey
Casey (Doneraile, Mitchelstown & Mallow). On November 21st 2022, unexpectedly but peacefully at home, The Venerable Archdeacon Gerard Casey, P.E. beloved brother of Aileen (O'Connor, Limerick), predeceased by his parents Liam and Joan (nee Corbett) and brother-in-law John O' Connor. Deeply regretted by his sister, Bishop Crean and the priests of the Diocese of Cloyne, his life long friend Monsignor Denis Reidy, Carrigtwohill, Michael, Anne, Mark and Andrew O'Connor, the Corbett and Casey Families, Mitchelstown, The McCarthy and Buckley Families Banteer, his many cousins, relatives, former parishioners and friends.

Reposing at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm followed by Mass at 7:30pm. Reception into St Mary's Church, Mallow on Thursday for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm, which can be viewed live at www.churchservices.tv/mallow . Burial afterwards in the church grounds.
