The death has occurred of Thérèse Sweeney -
Sunnyside, College Street, Mullingar, and formerly of Ginnell Terrace, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath - December 24th, 2025 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Dolly, brother Paddy, niece Regina, and nephew baby John.

Thérèse will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, brother Tom, sister Joan, sisters-in-law Agnes and Eilish, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home, College Street. Mullingar (N91 K660) on Saturday 27th December from 12.30pm, followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar for Funeral Mass at 2pm. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam (Cathedral of Christ the King) at the link below.
Burial will take place in Ballygass Cemetery.
