Therese Whelan
(née Browne)
Therese Whelan (née Browne), late of Greystones and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, 7th May, 2023. Beloved wife of Brian, loving and much loved mother to Dean, Adam, Luke and Alex. Therese will be forever loved and sadly missed by her husband and sons, parents Liam and Teresa, parents-in-law Denise and Cecil, sister Carol, brother Colm, sisters-in-law Valerie and Christina, brothers-in-law David and Andrew, nephews, niece, extended family, relatives and friends.
Heartfelt thanks to Professor David Gallagher, Dr. Osama Salib, Mr. Daniel Rawluk, the medical team and staff in the oncology unit at the Hermitage Clinic for the wonderful care and kindness given to Therese over the last year. Special thanks to the wonderful staff in Greystones Cancer Support and the nurses and carers from the Irish Cancer Society and Wicklow Hospice.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday (9th May) from 5.00pm-7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (10th May) at 10.00am in the Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones followed by private cremation. The Mass may also be viewed online at gkpastoralarea.ie. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society and the Wicklow Hospice.
